Lots of antibiotics kill. In my view it is unethical to prescribe them and you wouldn’t get any from me, unless the situation was already life-threatening. Even then, if it was me or my own family, I would rather rely on IV mega-doses of vitamin C than any antibiotic. 50- 100 gr. Of vitamin C is much more certain and quicker (works in an hour to two!)
The bottom line is nobody should be thinking “antibiotics”. We should be thinking of “alternatives”. And here’s the joke: there are 1,000s of viable alternatives. Hundreds of them work as well as antibiotics.
In my book I quoted a 1929 study in which substantial doses of a certain vitamin relieved 100% of puerperal sepsis. No drug is that good! (and, no, it wasn’t vitamin D or C) At that time puerperal sepsis (childbed fever) was the single most common cause of maternal mortality, accounting for about half of all deaths related to childbirth, and was second only to tuberculosis in killing women of childbearing age.
I’m sorry, but if you still believe antibiotics are going to save us, you need to get a grip. The Golden Age of Antibiotics is over. Bacteria have won the war, hands down, and that’s the truth. We’re all out of ammunition! The cupboard is bare.

Did you know that antibiotics are the most common cause of death from acute liver failure? (acute means sudden and unforeseen; as opposed to “chronic”, which everyone can see coming).
Your doctor didn’t tell you that when he/she last prescribed them, I’ll bet. He or she probably didn’t even KNOW that!
The truth, is statistics show that antibiotics are the single largest class of drugs that cause fatal liver damage. Drug-induced liver injury accounts for about 13% of cases of acute liver failure in the United States and is the most common cause of death from acute liver failure.
Liver injury can be caused by a wide range of prescription and non prescription medications, nutritional supplements and herbal products. In a new study, Indiana University School of Medicine researchers found that 73% of cases were caused by a single prescription medication, 9% by dietary supplements, and 18% by multiple agents. Patients with acetaminophen-related liver damage weren’t included in the study [American Gastroenterology Association, news release, Dec. 1, 2008].
Read that paragraph again. Even health supplements can kill you, if you don’t know what you are doing. But 73% of liver deaths were caused from just one prescription. That means you won’t get ANY warning, if you are among the unlucky 73%.
Yes, antibiotics were the most common cause of death due to liver injury (45%). The next group, nervous system agents, were only 1/3rd as common (15%). That puts antibiotics way out on their own as deadly drugs.
Chief offenders are Isoniazid, Macrolides (Erythromycin type), Penicillins, Clavulanic acid (Augmentin), Sulphonamides, Nitrofurantoin (Macrobid) and Tetracycline. In most cases, toxicity is idiosyncratic, reactions occurring only in some susceptible individuals, but that’s hardly the point, is it?
I’m constantly amazed when I hear of colleagues prescribing Erythromycin as a first line medicine for a sore throat. Don’t they know how toxic this stuff is? It had a bad reputation when I was in med school in the 1960s. Doesn’t anybody pay attention? If it’s to be used at all, it’s in a life-threatening situation where penicillins and safer drugs have failed.
Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.
It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings..

1. Ladies often have skin pores that are clogged up with year’s worth of moisturisers, make-up, and anti-perspirants. It can take quite a few sauna sessions to “free” up clogged pores!
2. Generally ladies’ sweat glands aren’t accustomed to perspiring in order to cool their bodies, as are athletes or labourers. 4. Are you well hydrated? Our body doesn’t like releasing fluids in quantities it doesn’t have! Ensure you drink plenty of plain water for up to 3 hours before your sauna.
5. Is the temperature of the sauna set too low? Check that the ceiling vent is closed too as this will affect the temperature.
6. The sun emits far-infrared heat and therefore, the outside temperature may adjust the way you feel in a sauna! On a warm day there is more Far-infrared in the atmosphere and so you will tend to sweat at a lower temperature. On a cooler day you may need to sauna at a higher temperature due to less far- infrared energy in the air.
7. Remember that a Sunlight Sauna is a dry sauna; not a humid, steam sauna. Far– infrared saunas function differently to conventional steam saunas.
a. Conventional steam saunas rely on ‘convection heat,’ which is the surrounding air temperature being hot enough to make you sweat (usually around 90-100°C). Thus it results in a ‘surface sweat’ of 97% water and only 3% toxins.
b. Far-infrared heat penetrates into the body directly (approx 3-4cm) and therefore, it takes longer to break out in a sweat. My name is Gary; I have been in the building industry for over 20 years. I first started as a painter with my father when I was 16 painting and renovating old houses.
My wife and I wanted to start a family and I went to get some tests done on my sperm count only to find that the count was low because of anti bodies. Cancer doctors: Heat therapies can play an important role in detoxification.

The ancient Greek doctor Parmenides once stated, “Give me a chance to create fever and I will cure any disease.” These days, more naturopathic and medical doctors, such as Drs. Why is far infrared therapy beneficial? Vancouver naturopathic physician Jim Chan, who has treated about 5,000 cancer patients, explains that far infrared therapy has the ability to break up the protective rings around harmful molecules in the body so they’re no longer cancer-causing. It also weakens the bonds between toxins and human tissues, so stored toxins can be flushed out of the system faster and in greater quantities through the skin (via sweating), liver and bowels.
Wholistic cancer treatment involves strengthening the immune system and killing toxic cancer cells, which can be done with interventions such as diet modifications, nutritional supplements, anti-cancer herbs, and the more orthodox chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Positive mental attitude and stress reduction are also often recommended. But even if you’re doing everything else right, without good detoxification, unhealthy substances remain a burden in the body and can slow or prevent recovery.
Toxins we are all exposed to include carcinogenic heavy metals, and pesticides and other chemicals in food, household products, water and air. At the Cline Medical Center in Nanaimo, medical doctor John Cline supervises successful cleansing programs involving far infrared heat.
“Organizations such as the United States Environmental Protection Agency have now taken a serious look at hyperthermic therapy as a means to detoxify individuals who are ill from exposure to environmental poisons and several good research have been published,” he writes in a recent wellness bulletin.
In one cancer study by the European Society for Hyperthermic Oncology that examined five-year survival rates of patients with malignant melanoma, 28 per cent of those who underwent only radiation survived five years. Of those who combined radiation and hyperthermia treatment once a week, 46 per cent survived. Neither group did any other wholistic therapies.
Another trial at St. Georg Hospital in Bad Aibling, Germany involved late-stage ovarian cancer patients who had previously undergone chemotherapy. Using a combination of chemotherapy and hyperthermia, 69 per cent experienced positive improvements, and 15.5 per cent went into remission.
Investigations into far infrared and other heat treatments will no doubt continue to move mainstream as science, technology and good old common sense come together. As the late, great cancer doctor, Josef M. Issels, known for the incredible successes in treating “incurable” cases, said about heat therapy:
